The NZPsS is also affiliated with the Royal Society of New Zealand, the International Union of Psychological Science and the International Union for Applied Psychology.

The Society also has links with psychological societies in other countries.

Institutes and Special Interest Groups

The NZPsS provides opportunities for members to join professional institutes and divisions. These are interest groups which provide members and student subscribers with opportunities to network with other psychologists within their own professional area of psychology and to access professional development and support. membership to the Institutes is free for members.

NZPsS Branches provide opportunities for members to get to know and network with other NZPsS members in their local region. Members and student subscribers are listed as belonging to the Branch geographically closest to their mailing addresses.
