Kotahitanga - Uniting for Collective Wellbeing
Academic Programme Convenors: Professor Bridgette Masters-Awatere, Dr Rebekah Graham & Dr Erin Tahauri
We warmly invite you to join us at the New Zealand Psychological Society Annual Conference and AGM. This year we are coming together with the theme Kotahitanga – Uniting for Collective Wellbeing. The 2025 Conference offers opportunity to share research, insights, and practices that contribute to the wellbeing of individuals, communities, and society as a whole. Whether you are a researcher, practitioner, student, or policymaker, your voice shapes the practice of psychology in Aotearoa New Zealand. We encourage delegates to submit an abstract to the academic committee for consideration. The academic committee are particularly interested in abstracts that will engage in meaningful kōrero, demonstrate collaborative endeavours, and/or create a shared understanding of psychological wellbeing that aligns with the Society’s commitment to honour He Whakaputanga and Te Tiriti or Waitangi. Let’s unite in the spirit of Kotahitanga to inspire, learn, and make a difference together.
The call for submissions is now open and we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to share your knowledge, research and insights with your colleagues.
10 February- Call for submissions open
30 April 2025 - Call for submissions closes
Please read the submission guidelines first before you submit your abstract here.
